- Is IOM an institution of any particular party or group?
- No, it is a completely non-political institution — not of any specific party or group. The teachers who will conduct classes, subject to the subject's needs, may be Qawmi scholars, Salafi scholars, or scholars from various universities. The topics of the classes will be sent following the Quran and Hadith, InshaAllah.
- Can I take the Dawra Hadith exam from IOM?
- The IOM Alim preparatory course does not exactly follow the Qawmi madrasah syllabus. In 3 years, an attempt has been made to provide all the essential knowledge needed for a student with a general background at once. After completing the IOM syllabus, you will be able to enroll, InshaAllah, in the Kuduri class at a Qawmi madrasah; then, according to the Qawmi system, you will complete the next 4 classes (Kuduri, Hidaya, Mishkat, Dawra) and be prepared for Dawra Hadith. Thus, after finishing the 3-year Alim preparatory course, if you study 4 years in an offline madrasah, you will be able to take the Dawra Hadith exam. If needed, we will help provide the admission letter.
- Do girls have to wear niqab in class? Will boys and girls take classes together?
- No, wearing niqab is not obligatory in class. Any student's personal video will not be shown to others — only the teacher's video, lectures, and slides will be shown. In Tajweed classes, sisters will be kept in a separate group so that only sisters can hear the voices of sisters. Additionally, students will join classes namelessly using roll/student ID, so gender identification will not be easy.
