Caravansary was once an important tradition among Muslims as a reflection of hospitality and humanitarian values.
Umar (RA) built a special house for pilgrims called “Darud Daqiq” during his reign. Where travelers could stay. He also built a caravansary for travelers between Mecca and Medina.
As a thousand-year-old tradition, caravansary's are still found in some parts of India, where travelers can usually stay for up to three days for free.
This is a continuation of this, this IOM's Caravansary
Many brothers went to Dhaka, the capital of the country, from different districts for various important work. Although it is easy to get the work done in Dhaka, the problem is finding a place to stay, especially for those who have few or no close relatives in Dhaka.
So for all those brothers of IOM, we have brought "Musafir Khana" to accept free (maximum 3 days) stay.
To stay in the Musafir Khana, the brother must be a regular/Faregh Talib/first semester (Farje Ain Course) graduate of IOM's Alim course. Dropouts will not be allowed. In the case of sisters, the husband or father of the sister who is a regular/Faregh Talib of Alim course can also avail this service.

Our Musafir Khana is located in Sheorapara, Dhaka, from where it is possible to go anywhere from Uttara to Motijheel via Metrorail in just 15 to 20 minutes.
The arrangement of the Musafir Khana is basically a room in a Maktab. There will be a room where multiple people can stay. (Note, this is not a hotel room).
🟩 Information regarding Musharfir Khana
1. Must come during office hours. Since the room key has to be collected from the office. (Between 10 am and 5 pm)

3. Departure time must be informed in advance.
4. The person must submit the original NID card (smart card) or any original certificate during the stay. The original document will be returned after returning the key. Printed version of the ID card is not acceptable.
5. You will be responsible for making your own accommodation arrangements during your stay.
6. Must have a circumcised beard.
7. Must be a non-smoker.
8. If someone needs to stay for more than 3 days, they will have to pay 300 taka per day for the additional days.
