Is Freelancing Halal?
If freelancing does not involve anything contrary to Shariah, it is permissible. The income will also be Halal.

Assalamu Alaikum. I want to know about a matter. I want to do freelancing. But in freelancing work, I need to use my photo and NID. If using my photo goes against the rules of purdah, I do not want to use my photo. Now I want to use my father's photo and NID for the freelancing work. But would using my father's photo and NID be considered cheating? Because I will be the one using this account entirely; my father will do no work here. However, those who give me work will know that this is a man's—i.e., my father's—ID; they will know that a man is doing the work they assigned. So, if I use my father's photo and NID, would that be cheating them?
In the situation mentioned in the question, you may use your father's name with his permission. You may use your father's photo and NID. Since you will do the work and take the money, and you are not deceiving anyone here, nor do you currently have any intention to deceive anyone, in the mentioned situation it will not be considered cheating.
