Islamic Online Madrasah (IOM) is a religious educational institution. For the sake of discipline of the institution some rules and discipline are given for the students. All students are requested to follow these rules.

Class Policy

• For all brothers & sisters
• Never turn on anyone's video
• If there is a difference of opinion with the Ustad, he should respectfully inform him. One should not do anything with the Ustad that would cause disrespect to the Ustad.
• To avoid typing anything extra in Zoom app chat.
• Asking questions on any subject outside the specified subject in a particular class should be avoided as much as possible. In Fiqh class, questions should be asked about Fiqh. If it is very important, after teaching the subject of the class, after the question of that subject is finished, the question can be asked with the permission of the teacher. • The last 15 minutes should be attempted for topical questions.
• It was requested to refrain from spoiling the attention of the teacher by suddenly interrupting the teacher by saying something irrelevant when the teacher is teaching or speaking. On any topic, you can talk about your topic by letting the teacher finish first.
• Roll number must be given. Attendance without roll number will not be considered.
• For Brothers
• While speaking on the microphone, care should be taken that there is no unwanted noise around.
• Since the sisters cannot speak in any class, the brothers have to make sure that the sisters don't get upset or cause any problems for the brothers.
• In tajweed class, in dawah class where brothers have to pronounce with the master, try to keep 2/3 people who have microphone and no noise nearby, just keep the microphone on and the rest should be muted.
• Since the sisters cannot ask any question directly, many times even the teachers may not notice the question. Brothers, it is better to ask these questions to the teacher during the question and answer session.
• For all the sisters
• Video and microphone cannot be turned on in combined classes. Only sisters will speak on microphone in special classes.
• No private messages can be given to brothers.
• Many sisters turn on the microphone by mistake. In many cases it has been seen that many people keep the video on. All students and teachers were embarrassed by this. These things should be taken special care. A few precautions can be taken for this: - You can cover a paper in front of the camera with scotch tape or something. So that even if the video is turned on by mistake, the video cannot be seen. There are some apps that cause the screen to be fixed. If this app is installed, just pull down from the top to lock the screen. Now no matter how much the screen is touched, nothing will work. Only 2/4/5 times tapping on the marked location will unlock the screen. Class will not be a problem.

Policy regarding Fee

• The monthly fee for Alim and other single courses is Bdt 500 and Bdt 1000 for expatriates. For fee details Click here -
• Those who have been blessed financially by Allah are requested to pay the full semester fee i.e. 6 months fee of Tk 3060 at one time. Because keeping this account every month is very time consuming. But those who have financial problems can pay the fee only monthly or 2/3 months.
• Every month's fee should be paid by 10th of that month. If payment is not made within 10 days, the campus account is closed. So if you pay after the specified time, you will have to pay 100 taka extra for opening the campus.

Some rules of sister special class and sister discussion room

Terms of Joining:

1. Only you will join these classes.

2. Class links and IDs are different from other links. These links or IDs should try to maintain maximum privacy. These links may not be shared with anyone.

3. Sisters can also ask their questions directly through voice in these classes.

4. No one's video can be turned on in any order. Because even if someone's husband or mahram leaves in the wrong order, so that there is no veil problem.

5. It should be strictly maintained so that no male person sits in front of the computer during class time.

6. Even your mahram men should not sit in front of the class. Because that individual is your mahram, to the person who is taking the class he is non-mahram.

And the above matters were requested to be followed strictly for the sake of Allah.

Discussion Room Rules:

1. There will be two/three class discussions daily.

2. For each subject one of the students should be selected as the teacher and the class should be started. If 2 subjects are discussed, two sisters will help the rest as teachers. Everyone will participate in the class equally but it is the responsibility of the teacher to maintain the time, topics etc. of the class. It is the responsibility for the sake of Allah of those who will be teachers to take care of the class so that everyone can benefit, learn and make proper use of the time.

In the case of tajweed, those who have secured the highest marks in the examinations should try to remain as teachers if they are present.

3. At the beginning of each day, the class will start with asking the whereabout of everyone's emaani work. For example, who is performing Tahajjud. Is anyone missed prayer? How many verses of Quran Sharif have been read etc.

4. At the end of each day, which class will be the next day, who will be the teacher in that class is decided by everyone's opinion. It is better if the teacher is changed every day. It should not be imposed on anyone alone.

5. No Madhhab or Manhaj can be discussed in the discussion. Alhamdulillah all Madhhab or Manhaj are right. However, since 95% of our students are of the Hanafi Madhhab, when there is a discussion about prayer or other matters, the rules of Hanafi Fiqh must be discussed and it must be said that those who are following other rules are also okay. Because the purpose of IOM is not to establish any sect or sect but to make everyone dāʿī and believer.

Regarding Facebook groups and group chatting

About posting and chatting in Facebook groups

IOM is a family. And we are all members of this family. Other worldly groups have some worldly interests within them to unite. But joining this group is for religious education and pleasing Allah. Only students can join this group. Inshallah if Allah wills, we hope to stay in the group till our last day.

In addition to studying, sharing handnotes, we expect some other things in the group as members of this group.

Today, the practice of religion has completely disappeared from our society. In our society today, the amount of sin committed in one day at a wedding seems to be more than the sin of the entire month in that area. Reunion is dead today. Today, if someone dies, his relatives from abroad are buried. And except reciting prayers for the dead person in the meeting, the feelings of meeting everyone after such a long time started to be shared.

Considering these issues, we want the Prophet (PBUH) and his Companions (RA) to stand by each other in all matters of birth, death and marriage. We expect the same from IOM.

1. If any of our babies are born, everyone in the class will pray for them. About this matter so that the future child can be responsible for the religion of the whole world.

2. Many of us seek religious spouses for marriage. In that case, we have come together because almost everyone has an interest in religion on this platform. And now, a secret arrangement has been made on the website to collect the CVs of the brothers and sisters who are looking for religious spouses. And if the needs of the groom/bride match, arrangements will be made to contact the bride's mahram father and the groom's father, inshallah. It is also completely for Allah.

And it is not possible only for the admin alone. For this we need a husband wife who both are admitted. Two are in two groups.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:

When a person gets married, he fulfills half of his religion. Then let him fear Allah concerning the remaining half.

And whoever helps in this matter only for the sake of Allah, Allah will surely reward him.

3. If any of our parents or husband or wife passes away, if we inform our group, the teacher will be informed inshallah in the class of that day. InshaAllah the teacher will pray for his forgiveness with all the students in the offline madrasa and IOM.

4. And if any student among us responds to Allah's call and leaves us, if we are informed, we will do a few things inshallah:

a. We will officially announce the place and time where his funeral will be held. Nearby students will participate in the funeral, inshallah.

b. Dua for forgiveness of deceased brother/sister.

1. Political posts: No political posts can be given in groups or chats. It is natural that different students will have different political ideologies. But there is no need for everyone to agree with my ideology.

2. Religious Controversial Posts: No controversial posts that may cause religious controversy can be given or shared. Only encouraging posts can be given.

3. Madhhab Controversy: IOM is always respectful of all Madhhabs or Manhaj. No post or discussion that creates controversy about Madhhab can be given or discussed. Neither for nor against. IOM believes that all schools of thought are correct. On the other hand, differences regarding Madhhab are mostly limited to nafl. There is no difference of opinion about the rest of the farz. So there is no room to create controversy about Nafal.

4. Hatred: I may personally dislike an alem or scholar. But it is completely forbidden to post or share posts by mocking anyone here.

5. Donation collection: কোন প্রতিষ্ঠান বা ব্যাক্তির জন্য অর্থসংগ্রহের জন্য কোন ধরনের পোষ্ট বা চ্যাটিং দিতে হলে অবশ্যই এডমিনের অনুমতি সাপেক্ষে দিতে পারবে। এডমিনের অনুমতি ব্যতিত কোন ধরনের দান সংগ্রহ সম্পূর্ন নিষিদ্ধ।

Some special precautions regarding chatting:

1. Wasting time: It would be nice if you could devote time to recitation or some amal without wasting time by unnecessary chatting. It should be noted that chatting is not a part of madrasa studies.

And any official notice will be given in group and message group post form and pin post. No need to be active in chatting for important notice.

2. Chatting Time: Chatting should be limited to 10 AM to 11 PM. Because if someone misses Tahajjud or spoils Fajr because of chatting after 12 midnight, it will become a sin.

3. Giving time to family: : It is better to give more time to family and children instead of wasting time in unnecessary chatting. Because class time is madrasa time. Chatting times other than class are not madrasa time.

4. Turn off chat notifications: অন্যদের চ্যাটিং এর ফলে সারাদিন নোটিফেকশন আসা বিরক্তির কারন হতে পারে। তাই চ্যাট নোটিফিকেশন অফ করে রাখতে রাখতে পারেন।

5. Chatting off during class: You are requested not to chat during class.

6.Link sharing regarding other organization in any group of IOM is prohibited.

Regarding payment:

Semester or Monthly Fee Payment:

যাদেরকে আল্লাহ আর্থিকভাবে সচ্ছলতা দান করেছেন তাদের কাজে অনুরোধ করা যাচ্ছে পুরো সেমিস্টারের ফি অর্থাৎ ৬ মাসের ফি ৩০৬০ টাকা একবারে পেমেন্টে করার জন্য। কেননা প্রতি মাসে এই হিসাব রাখা খুবই সময় সাপেক্ষ ব্যাপার। তবে যাদের আর্থিক সমস্যা তারাই কেবল মাসিক বা ২/৩ মাসের ফি একসাথে প্রদান করতে পারবেন।

Payment of Semester Fee for Expatriate Bangladeshis: In case of payment of semester fee for expatriate brothers/sisters for Alim course or any single subject, the monthly fee is double that of native students. But the admission fee is same for all.

If anyone has problem then apply for scholarship. Semester fee will not count if expatriates submit Bangladeshi fee.

Regarding Fatwa:

IOM has a multi-member Ifta Board to answer Fatwa or Masala questions on various topics.

It is prohibited to ask any kind of fatwa in class except for class related questions.

Exam Related:

Class test MCQ for other subjects, viva for tajweeds. There will be an examination of 100 marks for each subject in the semester final. Test or any other corrections should be reported to support.

Notice regarding examination results and promotion to next semester

TAJWEED NOTICE: 70% marks in Tilawat in Tajweed Final Viva will be considered as passed in the next semester. If you get less than 70%, besides continuing to the next semester, you have to continue with junior batch in any one of the groups at your convenience and you have to attend regularly. In this case attendance will be counted. At the end of the semester, the attendance of the group will be checked. If the said attendance is less than 80% then you have to continue again by enrolling in single tajweed course.

For Subjects other than Tajweed:Alhamdulillah those who get 40% in each subject are promoted to next semester. Those who scored below 40% in more than two subjects or did not appear in the exam will have to 'retake' those one/two courses in the next semester.
(There is no opportunity to retake more than two or three/four courses in one semester. Absent/failing in three/four courses in one semester will be treated as failed and re-admitted by dropping the semester)

What is course retake?

Those who are below 40% in the highest two subjects or did not take the exam, are promoted to the next semester but they have to simultaneously continue (retake) the two 1/2 courses failed in the previous batch with the next batch.

Course retake rules-

Course retake fee of Tk. 500 per course must be given in details to support. Then the failed courses of the previous semester will be added along with your new semester courses in the campus.

In this case, it should be noted that in the case of the retake course exam, the exam in which you failed or did not take the exam in the previous semester. Give only that exam (If you fail the mid exam, tie that exam with the next batch only during the mid exam and inform the support of the marks obtained.)

If the above mentioned retake conditions are absent in any case, one cannot take the course retake at will.

40% marks shall be considered as pass in Arabic MCQ+ written both with class test and mid. If one gives MCQ and gets total 40% including class test+ mid in it then he/she will be considered pass. Same condition even if only retained.

কোনো নির্দিষ্ট সাবজেক্টে আশানুরূপ মার্কস থেকে কম মার্কস পেলে, পরবর্তী সেমিস্টারে ইমপ্রুভমেন্ট পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে মার্কস আপডেট করে নেওয়ার সুযোগ রয়েছে।

Conditions for collection of funds from groups at the risk of any student

For anyone to collect money from the group, permission from the authorities is required. Any fundraising post without permission will be banned from the group.
For permission:
1. Candidate must be running student of Alim course.
2. Reverted-Muslims will be prioritized.
3. The financial condition of the family is poor, due to which it is not possible to continue the madrasa classes even with the scholarship due to lack of other things. (E.g.: mobile phone/book...etc)
4. In the case of madrasa brother-sister marriages…. Those who are eligible to receive Sadaqah.
5. Student brothers and sisters eligible to receive Sadaqa-e-Zariah.
6. Assisting in permanent job placement. For example: For example: arranging a job for the brothers; Helping with capital in the family of sisters with domestic animals and birds, sewing machine or home business i.e. homemade food business etc.)
