In Islamic Online Madrasa, exam on each subject is of 100 marks . A whole number is divided into parts. Here is the merit evaluation procedure:-

  • Attendance-10% Out of 100 marks for each subject, 10 marks are awarded on attendance. That is, if you attend every class you will get 10 marks. While taking classes through Zoom app, only attendance counts when taking classes with your roll. Note that attendance is counted separately for each subject.
  • Class Test-20% Generally after 7 (may be more or less) classes the class test is given. There are 20 marks on the class test. Class test usually consists of 30 marks. Some subjects including tajweed are viva and remaining subjects are in MCQ format. The MCQ exam can be given on any of the days scheduled by the Islamic Online Madrasa. However, the viva exam must be given on time.
  • Midterm-30% Generally after completing 15 (can be more or less) classes mid term exam is given. There are 30 numbers on midterms. There is usually a 50 mark exam in midterms. Some subjects including tajweed are viva and remaining subjects are in MCQ format. The MCQ exam can be given on any of the days scheduled by the Islamic Online Madrasa. However, the viva exam must be given on time.
  • Final-40% After completing all the classes, the final exam has to be given. The final exam carries 40 marks out of total marks. The final is usually an exam of 100 marks. Some subjects including tajweed are viva and remaining subjects are in MCQ format. The MCQ exam can be given on any of the days scheduled by the Islamic Online Madrasa. However, the viva exam must be given on time.

Some questions and answers

How much is the pass mark?

If you get 40% marks in the final exam, you are passed. Only in Tajweed, if you get 80% marks uou are passed. But attending the final exam is mandatory in both cases. An individual can't be passed without taking the final exam.

What if you fail in the exam?

If you fail in the exam or if the result is not as expected, you will have to take the retake exam. A fee of 500 taka per subject has to be paid for taking the retake exam. To take the retake exam, support go to exam reset / poor fund department. and contact the department

What to do if you can't give the scheduled exam?

If you are unable to attend the class test and mid-term exam within the specified time, the exam can be given by paying the late fee within 7 days of the completion of the MCQ exam. However, there is no opportunity to give this much time for the final exam. Then the opportunity to attend the exam can be taken within maximum 3 days after the completion of the MCQ exam.

What is the last date to pay the exam fee?

The last date for payment of examination fee is notified a few days before the commencement of the examination. Fees can be paid within specified time.

Masq's teacher of sisters takes sisters' viva. In other words, the sister's viva is taken by the sister. The male teachers take the viva of brother's.

How much is the exam fee?

There is no fee for class test. Midterm exam fee is 300 taka and final exam fee is 500 taka.

Can I continue the next semester if I do not give the exam in 1/2 subject?

Yes, if you fail in 1/2 subject or if you don't give the exam, you can continue the next semester, but in this case you will have to pay the retake fee for the two subjects, inshallah.

What should I do if I do not give the exam in 3 or more subjects or fail the exam?

If you fail in 3 or more subjects or do not take the exam, you have to continue studying with readmission in the same semester.

If I miss a final exam for some reason, can I continue the next semester?

Answer: If you fail to take the final exam for any reason, you will have to continue your studies with readmission again in that semester. There is no opportunity to continue in the new semester.
